A Kitchen for all Seasons

Chris and Christine Hanson found the perfect place to raise their family in Oakland’s Redwood Heights: a storybook home with loads of charm and lots of renovations needed. As the hub of any home, the kitchen was a central part of this couple’s whole home renovation. Luckily for them, Christine’s mom is an interior designer and helped the couple envision their new kitchen in all its glorious details.  These design plans were made a reality when the Hansons came to Paragon Kitchen & Bath Studio in search of cabinetry. The Hansons plans were for a classic country kitchen with all the trimmings and their budget was typical of a young couple with a child on the way…modest. Bellmont Cabinetry, a full-access line of cabinets, met their needs on all fronts. Bellmont offers a dependably built cabinet with all manner of detailed design accessories, such as shaped toe kicks and furniture end panels, at a price the Hansons could comfortably manage.
 
Since the Hansons are avid gardeners, growing, canning, and pickling fresh vegetables, for friends and themselves, maximizing the storage capacity and function of their  200 square foot kitchen was of primary importance. Frameless cabinets, such as those made by Bellmont, have the advantage of no face frame, that means all of the cabinet is available for storage without obstruction. A large pantry with roll out shelves is a major contributor in meeting their storage needs as is the square corner cabinet unit which holds the couple’s cookware.
 

A pull out trash/recycling unit keeps the floor space clear while the glass fronted wall cabinet allows the couple some display space and provides a sense personal warmth. The apron front sink and plumbing fixtures by Rohl along with the subway tile and classic cup pulls are the extra details that give this kitchen the charm and comfort of a room you’d enjoy spending a lot of time.
